Handmade jewellery in Crotone, ancient city of Pythagoras. We have been goldsmiths since 1976, our artefacts represent and are inspired by Magna Graecia. The jewellery that represents you, that distinguishes you, can only be found by those who, still today, work exclusively by hand with passion and love for a land that surrounds us with ancient beauty, deep roots of western culture: Petelia, Kroton, Sibari, Caulonia, Locri, Rhegion.
ROMEO jewellery are icons of ancient civilisations, clear and refined imprints of refined, unique jewellery.
We are inspired by the wind that blows from the mythological sea of the cities of Magna Graecia. Since 1976, ROMEO's master goldsmiths have had great experience in the creation of ‘popular Calabrian jewellery’, which they now offer on national and foreign markets as the largest collection of jewellery from Magna-Grecia.
The production reveals a deep love for ancient art, but renewed in the creation of unusual jewellery,
different, surrounded by tiny pearls bearing witness to an ancient symbolism on the border between magic and medicine.The collection is also enriched by numerous faithful copies of ancient gold and silver coins inspired by Magna-Greek,Roman and Byzantine culture.
Every jewel is created exclusively in the ROMEO workshop in Crotone. No industrial production. Only authentic handcrafted work.

Dal 1976 realizziamo gioielli artigianali a Crotone, antica Kroton, città di Pitagora e cuore della Magna Grecia.
Ogni creazione nasce interamente nel nostro laboratorio, attraverso lavorazioni tradizionali eseguite esclusivamente a mano.
LE ORIGINI
Dopo gli studi presso l’Istituto Tecnico “Leonardo da Vinci” di Pisa, nel 1976 ho aperto a Strongoli la mia prima oreficeria con laboratorio.
In uno spazio essenziale, ho iniziato a realizzare i primi gioielli completamente a mano, mettendo in pratica una formazione già solida.
Negli anni Ottanta mi sono trasferito a Crotone, dove ho ampliato il laboratorio, consolidando nel tempo una produzione artigianale strutturata.
IDENTITÀ
Il nostro lavoro è profondamente legato a questa terra e alla sua storia millenaria: Petelia, Kroton, Sibari, Caulonia, Locri, Rhegion.
Da queste radici nasce una collezione che non segue mode, ma interpreta simboli antichi trasformandoli in forme contemporanee.
